Getaways Park City had it origin back in Maui in 2003, where my wife and I launched a property management company called Maui Getaways. We specialized in luxury vacation rentals along the world renowned Kaanapali coast and up into Kapalua. In subsequent years we expanded to the south side of Lahaina with an inventory of beautiful homes and condos that featured 180 degree ocean views, infinity edge pools, outdoor showers, fabulous kitchens, dreamy master suites and amazing family rooms with full-height sliding retractable doors that open to paradise. It was wonderful and every day was perfect, even when it rained. We loved our owners, their properties and our very special guests who came from all over the world to rent them.However, most all of our children had moved back to the mainland, married and had our grandchildren growing up without seeing us very often. Well, this had to change, in spite of how much we loved this island paradise.
So, we moved.
I had considerable experience in building as a general contractor, real estate sales and leasing, commercial development, restaurant ownership and property management. We elected to maintain our business in this last profession and hence, Park City Getaways was born. We have been here in Park City for nine years and have loved nearly every minute of it. Shoveling snow is not an endearing part of our lives here but the people, the lifestyle and outdoor pursuits make it home…
Our mission statement is simple:

Our top priority is in maintaining the highest standards of care for each home or condo while at the same time, creating a credible and sustainable income stream for each owner. In some instances, we do not rent out the property but are engaged to keep it in pristine condition for the out-of-state owners who use it periodically.
In any case, we make sure that we have our owner’s best interests in mind at all times and create an environment of genuine personal service that ensures our highly favored guests return to us year in and year out.
Through the natural attrition of our economy, we lose a property or two nearly every year so one of our goals is to recruit between two and five quality properties each year as well in order to maintain our inventory. One of our commitments is in growing in a very controlled fashion and never lose our personal, family oriented focus.

This drives each and every interaction. It guides us to maintain the highest standards in cleaning, repairs, marketing, making improvements and attentiveness to the needs of our owners and guests, always with genuine concern and promptness.
We will never expand at the expense of neglecting our owners or guests by cutting our personal attention and compassionate service like many of the newbies in town that are marketing fiercely by offering cut rate prices and substandard services. The other larger companies lose properties to us periodically from neglect and price gouging of their owners for ancillary services. It happens every year and it keeps our inventory strong.
